Biography
Polly McCann

I have an M.A. in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN--2011. I've studied under Jane Resh Thomas,Phyllis Root,Jackie Briggs-Martin,and Claire Rudolf Murphy. I have a four year degree in Studio Art from Messiah College where I also studied writing and poetry with Julia Kasdorf and Helen Walker. I've taught art since 2000 and now teach at The Kansas City Art Institute CPS. Currently I am polishing two middle-grade novel series (one for boys and one for girls), two books of poetry, and several picture books. I live in a yellow house with blue shutters with my writer-librarian husband and my two beautiful children.
