Bio:
You know something? This is the hardest stuff to write! Do you really want to know that I was born and raised in Western New York? That I won numerous art shows all through grade and High schools, working my way to where I am today?
Does it matter that somewhere in my early teens, I realized that if I couldn't draw what I was feeling, I could write it... so I began to do that. At first it was in the form of verse. I could say a lot in a poem that could be interpreted in many ways. I liked that.
With those poems, there were some short stories. They had an early western feel to them, probably because I spent the better part of a year living in Arizona after graduating.
Then, unfortunately, a lot of that work; which I had promised myself I would publish once I had one hundred poems in my hand written book, was lost in a move. I can't tell you how hard that is. To lose part of yourself. I had no computer backup at the time... this was all painstakingly hand written material. Gone.
Years went by. I got married, had two daughters. Moved more times than I care to count, through three different states from where I started.
And I started writing again. Slowly at first. Tentatively. I had a computer now. I could save everything. But I wasn't confident, not really. I stuck with what I thought I knew. Romantic stories with an historical twist to them.
Then, I had the Dream. The full color dream with Her. She sat there, quietly. Letting me see her for what she was.
The beginning of what you see here now.
Well, look at that. I told you more than you may have asked for... but there you have it... me in a few sentences. Are you curious for more? You can see 'me' all around this site. As it grows with the stories that are shaping the land of Mirnth, I hope you'll join me.
