Bio:

Annie White grew up in Victoria, Australia and spent her childhood on the beaches along the Great Ocean Road.

After leaving school, she studied Art and Design for 4 years then worked in advertising before moving into illustration on a full time basis.

Annie has illustrated for children for 35 years and has had over 60 books published.

Annie enjoys working in many different areas (her illustrations have appeared on jigsaw puzzles, magazines, stamps and murals), but she is particularly interested in the field of children's literature where she likes to communicate ideas clearly and simply using expression and movement.
