Bio:

Ersi Spathopoulou was born in Athens. She studied graphic arts at Vakalo School of Art & Design, where she specialized in graphic and stage design.
She was assistant stage designer to Savas Charatsides, for various productions of the National Theatre of Greece.
She worked for Artoon S.A. as a background artist-stylist for the tv cartoon production “Pandora and Plato”, as well as other projects.
Since 1998, she runs her own creative office “ANIMaD – Illustration & Animation”, along with Dimitris Karatzaferis.
ANIMaD’s work includes animation and backgrounds for multimedia and TV applications, commercial illustration and storyboards, as well as illustration for books and other printed material (magazines etc).
