I am an Australian writer, teacher, and mother of two children. The joys and challenges of life keep surprising me, and so I keep on adapting and changing. Writing is an art form that can be adapted in so many ways and is very free. That's why I love it.

Young children's innate capacity to learn and their thirst for knowledge excite me. Hearing the reading of powerful, well written stories is an integral starting point for children in developing the skills of reading and writing. The worlds we create in children's books are nourishing havens for people who are growing fast.
