Bio:

Born and raised in Alaska, I moved to Maine in 1994 to attend the Maine College of Art, where I met my future husband. After graduating in 1997 we drove across the country in a 1970 RV. Eventually we returned to Maine to get married on an Island beach and raise our two children in a yellow house with purple doors.



My acrylic and gouache illustrations are rich in color and metaphor, and tell stories that celebrate life, love, friends and family in all their various modern forms. Adventures with my children, memories, dreams, fables and the occasional song lyric inspire me to spend each day painting.
