Pete Hautman

Bio:

Pete Hautman has written fifteen novels for teens and middle-grade readers, including "Godless," winner of the 2004 National Book Award for Young People’s Literature. Three of his books have been selected as New York Times Book Review Notable Books, he has won Michigan's "Thumbs Up" Award for Best YA Novel twice, and has won three Minnesota Book Awards.

Hautman lives with novelist, poet, and occasional co-author Mary Logue in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and Stockholm, Wisconsin. Hautman’s most recent YA book is "How to Steal a Car."
