Bio:

Welcome and thanks for visiting!My training and interests are diverse, including illustration, teaching,and fine arts.

I am now focused on my life-long passion which is writing and illustrating books for children. I am currently working on a picture book dummy for my own manuscript!
My formal education is in fine arts and related areas. I studied illustration at The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

A few years ago I became a teacher.I earned a B.A I.S Elementary Ed., K-8th.

I make my home in Arizona, with my husband Greg, three dogs, five house geckos, thirty-two guppies, and one ghost shrimp.

I raised two beautiful kids, and fondly remember curling up and reading beautifully illustrated and written books with my children. To this end, I strive to give illustrations all that I have, because reading should be a life-long love. And illustrations are essential for supplying curiosity for young readers just learning to read.
