Bio:

A long-time arts advocate, my love of the arts began at an early age. I started my theatrical career at age 5 and continued studying and performing throughout high school, completing my BA in theatre at UCLA. Active in the entertainment industry, friends and I founded a company that allowed us to write, produce and perform for family audiences. Thirteen original plays and original adaptations resulted in six seasons of critically-acclaimed theatre and audio recordings for families. After moving back to Austin to tour an original show to schools and museums, I naturally ended up as the Executive Director of a nonprofit that encourages an interest in math and science among K-12 students. Nine years later I returned to the arts, writing for children again, and self-published my first of 3 books - A Day With Lady. I look forward to meeting other friendly and passionate writers and artists!
