Bio:

Leah was raised in the Midwestern United States along the wooded shores of Lake Michigan. Nearby her childhood home stood a rustic beach cottage, encased by carvings of black bears dancing across a heavy wooden gate. As a child, Leah was swept away with enchantment, and she was inspired to write and illustrate stories. Leah earned a BFA in Illustration with a Minor in Writing from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in Wisconsin. Today, she lives with her husband and three children in Virgina, where she writes and illustrates children's books and various literature.
