Bio:

Wallace West has studied with both the School of Visual Arts in New York City and Parsons School of Design in Paris. A writer for nationally and internationally distributed publications, he is making the segue into being a writer and illustrator in the Children's Market by completing his first children's book.

A firm believer in lighthearted living (and unexpected comedy), his artwork reflects the humor and honesty that intrinsically prevails in children...this might come from the fact that he continues to play hide and seek and build indoor forts well into his ‘adult’ years. Apart from his extremely lazy beagle-mix, Sammy Joe, his influences span the spectrum from Quentin Blake to Modigliani.
