Bio:

Joan Bock has focused her career on less successful readers and writers, and was also the topic of her doctoral dissertation. She has worked with children preschool through college and is currently tutoring 9 children in an inner city setting. She owned a business for 13 years which included teacher resources and children's literature - etc.
She has a husband, Dennis, two married children, and three grandchildren. She loves to garden, READ, travel, cook, etc.
Published works have evolved around helping children become more successful in reading and writing. Writing children's literature is a new venture.
