Bio:

Denice is a two-time graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature. Her specialties include fantasy, humor and adventure where her imagination sails. She loves writing picture books, junior and YA novels. She has published three children's e-books on her new website, www.denicehugheslewis.com. She won in the preteen category of the first annual 2011 Global eBook awards for her fantasy, "Dragon Cloud."

She is also a screenwriter with an imdb credit for a short film. Denice has studied screenwriting with Cynthia Whitcomb, a playwright and T.V. screenwriter. At Screenwriting U, she has taken numerous online courses from Hal Croasmun, a Hollywood writer/producer, owner of Class 3 Entertainment.

Denice is currently working for an Australian Production Company, Cardia Films as a screenwriter.

She is a member of the ProSeries Alumni, an active online group of dedicated screenwriters. With the members of the High Desert Screenwriters, she is developing a spec comedy script.

When she is not busy with her husband, granddaughters, dogs, cats and horses, she also writes lyrics and melodies.
