Bio:

I'm a Brooklyn based painter, specializing in artwork and custom murals for children's rooms and nurseries. It's a dream of mine to write and illustrate children's books. I love painting animal characters and creating a back story for each of them. The challenge is to write a compelling story with engaging characters and imagery. I've put together a couple of book dummies and have numerous stories roughed out. There are some wonderful children's books on the market and many terrific illustrators working on them. It can feel daunting to throw your hat in the ring, but I think (and hope)there is room for my illustrations and ideas, too.

I have over 10 years experience working as a scenic artist in the film/TV business. I work closely with production designers and art directors to fulfill their vision on high profile productions and advertising. In 2003, I painted my 1st murals for a little girl's playroom which kick-started a 2nd career for me, one that I love!
