Bio:

Akiko White received a BFA from the McNay Art Institute. She worked several years as a graphic artist for PCI Educational publishing company in San Antonio, TX.

As the Illustrator coordinator for the Southwest Region, Akiko hopes to bring other aspiring illustrators together for support, guidance and insperation. At the present Akiko is an adjunct professor teaching traditional and digital media to students attending San Antonio Community College.

Akiko is also painting for local galleries, writing and illustrating children's picture books.
