Bio:

Katherine is a writer and actor in Austin, TX. Her first novel, SUMMER & BIRD (ages 10 and up), was released by Dutton Children's Books (Penguin) on October 2, 2012. Her second novel, as yet unnamed, is due out from Dutton in 2014.

In addition to writing middle grade fiction, Katherine also writes on the arts for the Austin Chronicle, performs on stage in various Austin venues, and does voice acting for games like DC Universe Online (Oracle) and Wizard 101 (Myrella Windspar).
