Bio:

Julie always loved reading and as a youngster enjoyed writing poetry best. However, music became her main interest and took up most of her time.
She has taught in various schools, both junior and senior, around England. Her favourite post was Head of Music in an independent school in Devon, where she was let loose to produce lots of concerts and musicals.
Now she is a private music tutor. This allows plenty of time for writing!
She seems to have found her niche - creating picture book stories about whacky characters. She doesn't think she has ever really grown up herself!

Her first book - 'Mrs MacCready Was Ever So Greedy' (Maverick Books) - was published in May 2011.
