Bio:

For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved to draw! I especially like expression, which is why people & animals tend to be the subjects of my paintings. When I draw and paint, I try to concentrate on capturing the personality, gesture and imagination of a character.

I like to experiment with different media as well as stylized shapes & lines. Keeping a sketchbook is an integral part of my work since the sketches themselves often evolve into full-fledged paintings of their own. Sketching also challenges my ability to capture the nuances of life, as well as pin down any fleeting ideas.

When I’m not drawing I enjoy reading, hiking, gardening, traveling and going on walks with my two adorable dogs.
