Bio:

I have long admired authors and illustrators, not only for their talent, but also for the confidence and courage they exhibit in allowing the world to look inside their hearts.

I have decided that if I am ever to join that circle, it will require actually letting others view my work. So here goes my leap of faith -- eyes closed, fingers crossed. I hope you enjoy.

By day, I am an Official Court Reporter in the Juvenile Division of Circuit Court (quite a change after many years of working at a small private elementary school). When I'm not at work, you can find me completely absorbed in my latest creation or burning up the road as my family and I train for our next half-marathon. I am currently illustrating my first two picture books and researching a biography.
