Bio:

Born 1968 in Bludenz, where I still live. Started writing when I was a teen and won my first regional award for two texts and one poem about peace.
I'm working as teacher for 10 to 14 year olds (Mittelschule it is called in Austria). I teach English, biology and German.
I'm also the school-librarian, always watching closely what kids like to read.
My first children's book won a national award ("Eusebius and Ponifex"), later I published three picture books about the witch Pollonia.
At the moment I'm working on a fantasy novel for girls, age 12+.
My next book, that is going to be published this year, is a "how to" book, published by bc publications.
I like to write all kinds of texts from plays to crime stories and nonfiction texts, but writing for children is my favourite.
