Bio:

Hello! I'm a watercolor illustrator in central Illinois working from my home studio and selling my work online and at local shows and galleries.

For me, painting is a form of storytelling. I love to intertwine made-up fables with real-life things like tall trees, giraffes, girls with wild hair, little boys with top hats. I sketch and think and paint layer upon layer of watercolors onto very fine and smooth paper. Then, to finish it off, I pull from my stack of music sheets and scrap book pages that were once my beloved grandmother's and cut and tear and paste until it all comes together.
