Bio:

I come to writing for children by way of teaching 5th grade at an all boy's school. I teach math and reading as well as coaching and directing the play. Working with kids opened a portal back to my childhood and inspired me on to begin writing stories and poetry. I created www.poetryfortoughguys.blogspot.com as a way to share my poetry with my students. Now I want to share it with boys all around the world. Girls can read it too. As a matter of fact it's a good way for them to get the inside scoop on how guys think! The important thing for me is that my audience is entertained in a way that helps them feel good about themselves.
