Bio:

I have published stories and poems in places like Seventeen magazine, FICTION, The Gettysburg Review and others. I teach writing at Boston University in the College of Communication and also publish textbooks for writing classes (Writing in the Works/Cengage).
I live in Milton with my newspaper-editor husband, my children, and whatever pets will stick around.
