Bio:

I was raised by a potato and loaf of white bread in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. To escape the suburbs, I went to study Illustration at Moore College of Art and Design where I earned my BFA. I got married! I was young. It was meh. After that, I moved to San Jose, California in a van driven by the man I now call my (second) husband and seldom any other choice words, as well as three cats. We are now down to two. This was by means of some in-transit mishap. After a number of years doing B&W comic strip work, I've decided to come back to my first love. Cookies. I mean picture books. Actually, it's a race too close to call.
