Christine E. Aegean

Bio:

Writing has been a major thread woven into the tapestry of my life. From writing in my diary that had a lock on it at age ten, to poetry and stories in junior high, to writing the "sophmore section" in the high school year book, to creative writing courses in college then screenplay writing courses at UCLA. I co-wrote an episode of "Friends" to get into the Warner Brother's Sit-Com Writers Workshop where our script received a thumbs-up on the dialogue which was awesome.

Many years later, living in Laguna Beach, I now find myself emersed in writing for children.I woke up one morning with an idea for a children's middle grade story which took me five years to write and another two years to read, research, format, rewrite and edit again and again and again with the help of SCBWI conferences, joining Clubhouse Insider and my critique groups. Now it's the submission phase. As I wait for replies, I sail into writing my other stories, a YA, and another MG. I'm enjoying all aspects of the process and so, the weaving continues in a whole new color.
