Bio:

Chrissie Wysotski is an established illustrator working for a wide variety of children’s publications. Chrissie’s love for drawing led her to perfect her talent at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design and later at the Ontario College of Art, where she earned her degree in Communication and Design. Over the past 17 years Chrissie has enjoyed a successful career as a commercial illustrator.
With either a whimsical flare or her more serious style, Chrissie's expressive drawings convey a wide range of emotions in the sensitive scenes she illustrates. Her images capture the essence of each subject she depicts, and the spirit of the people she portrays.
A partial client list includes Fitzhenry and Whiteside, Harcourt Brace Canada and Nelson Publishing. Chrissie's illustrations have been used in textbooks, magazines, children's fiction and non-fiction, posters and advertisements. She is an active member of CANSCAIP and the SCBWI.
