Bio:

Born and raised in Door County, WI., I recently began to write children's stories based on true events inspired by my two children, five grandchildren and our family pets.

I majored in the arts in college, worked as a travel agent, and retail sales. I am a member of SCBWI, FWA, WLOV and CAT. My first children's story, My Very Own Fierce Scary Cat, has been published in an anthology - The Story Shop - in Dec. of 2011. Two new picture books will be completed and ready for submission in 2012.

I attended the SCBWI-WI Fall Conference 2011 and belong to a SCBWI critique group.
