Bio:
There is not much in this world that I have not done, or at least not tried and I hope I am not finished yet. Life is an adventure.
Growing up and throughout most of my adult life I have traveled. I never lived any one place more than two years (until moving to Alaska) and I have been in up to as many as 5 schools in one year. I loved the life. It gave me a different viewpoint from what most of the world may see. It gave me a chance to really see people. It also set me apart. But that is a different and very long story.
My passions include my children and husband, horses, dogs and all other animals, science and education, yarn crafts and sewing, and of course writing. Most of these things I have been doing since I was a very young child. My father, an acomplished story teller, used to encourage me to sit and write a story every day. I have also taught reading, writing, and science in the public school system. I have taught Sunday School, 4-H Horse club and Roundup (public speaking/demonstrations) Adult basic education and knitting. For recreation I have flown airplanes, ridden Harleys, broke horses, and run a dog team in Alaska. I also love to hunt, fish, and tend a vegetable garden. I never want to retire!
To say the least, this life has given me material to write about. I only ask God to grant me the patience and talent to share with the world the wonders He has shown me, and to Him I will give Thanks.
I do not wish to enter into my old age gracefully and with my hair and makeup in place, but rather be worn and ragged, sliding into 'home' with what's left of my hair full of road dirt, with a smile on my face saying "Whew, What a Ride!"
