Bio:

Penny Draper, commonly known as the Disaster Queen, is a bookseller by day, an author by night and a storyteller all of the time. Her books are about disasters - rockslides, tsunamis, tornadoes, storms and shipwrecks - so there is plenty of mayhem and destruction. But there are also heroes. What would YOU do if your whole world suddenly changed?

Penny was born in a suburb of Toronto and now lives by the sea in Victoria, BC, Canada. She loves to travel, and is somehow able to find disaster wherever she goes.
