Bio:

I am a stay at home dad that loves reading picture books to his four children. This love has developed into writing the blog, Happy Birthday Author, (http://www.happybirthdayauthor.com), which reaches out to families to create memorable reading experiences. My gimmick is celebrating the birthdays of children’s authors and illustrators. Since, every child loves birthdays – I hope to transfer that love to reading.

My blog writing started out reflecting my work in the classroom as a special education teacher which is where I first practiced Happy Birthday Author. Now, since I have decided to stay at home with my children, all the writing reflects our experiences.

A birthday blog features information about the author, our experiences reading their books, and possibly even a birthday memory from the author. The hard work that I have put into the blog over the years has given me a passion for writing.

I have self-published the Three Ghost Friends Books to teach concepts to young children. Available on Amazon.com and the Apple iBookstore. Check out www.threeghostfriends.com for over 50 activities to go along with the 4 books.
