Bio:

I (Heather Cashman) graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, but I have always loved to write. I won a writing contest in elementary school and was hooked. Since getting married in 1992, I have had three amazing children who keep me up to date on the ups and downs of growing up in today's world. My family has moved from Arizona to New York to Kansas. We love to kayak and canoe down the windiest rivers we can find.
Writing stayed a hobby until I moved to New York and found an amazing editor, who became one of my biggest advocates and gave me the advice I needed to take my writing to a higher level. Her encouragement as well as a growing fan base prompted me to publish. Thinking it would remain a hobby, I decided to self-publish with Amazon and CreateSpace. (I was wrong, BTW.) I have discovered the amazing feeling that accompanies book discussions, interviews, articles, and associating with other authors.
I welcome opportunities to visit schools, libraries, and book groups in person or via Skype.
