Bio:

Lisa M. Griffin is a professional illustrator & designer living in New Hampshire. A New England girl at heart, Lisa grew up in Maine, drawing and painting her surroundings as far back as she can remember. She studied at UMass/Swain School of Design in Massachusetts, focusing on illustration and visual arts, and received a BFA, Cum Laude, in 2004.

Her latest children's book, The Golden Butterfly, was published in August 2012 by SwordPen Publishers. Lisa's illustrations have been published in local and national newspapers including the LA Times.
Partial client list includes: Brown Publishing, SwordPen Publishing, SHINE brightly magazine, Foundations Publishing, Stonyfield Farm, Stories for Children Magazine and Kidz Rule USA.

Lisa divides her time between family and working in her studio. She is active in her local community, promoting the importance of art programs for children. She is currently hard at work on her second children's picture book with SwordPen Publishers, that is scheduled for release in 2013.
