Tracey found the idea for her first book 'The Perfect Tooth' from a play that she created on a health promotion practical placement during her nursing training in a rural setting. It takes the reader through the importance of brushing their teeth by using animated characters and explanations beside them. This is done through a series of inspections performed by the Tooth Fairy and her friends. The book highlights the importance of teeth cleaning to children by getting the message across in a fun and humorous way. This book would be a great resource for parent groups, parents with young children, day care groups, primary school teachers, dental clinics attached to schools and general dental clinics. This book can easily be turned into a play using eight youngsters.
