Bio:

Hugh Jamieson

Hugh started painting in acrylics and oils while in first grade (well before he could even sign his name). All through Elementary, Middle and High school he took every art course they offered and absorbed as much art as his little head could possibly soak up. After High school Hugh attended Cornish College of Design and California Collage of Arts and Crafts as a Graphic Designer. Later he attended Art Center College of Design where he studied for four years as an Illustrator and graduated with a BFA in Illustration/Fine art. Hugh’s first job after graduation was as a Concept Artist for Walt Disney Studios. During his artistic career he has worked with a colorful assortment of companies like Microsoft, The History Chanel, DreamWorks, Sony and Hasbro. His art has varied from video game concepts, book illustrations, 3D computer modeling, collectable card art, and fine art as well as children‘s book illustrations. Currently Hugh works from his studio as a freelance Concept Artist and Illustrator.
