Bio:

After receiving a double major Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning and Environmental Studies, Kim worked in the woods as a surveyor, then in an office as a Zoning Officer, but something was missing... So she went back to school for a Master's Degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in English and Creative Writing--about as far from her Bachelor's as she could get. The next few years were spent in the classroom teaching American Literature and Writing to high school students, a job she absolutely loved, but still, something was missing... Kim became a full-time stay at home mom to three wonderful, beautiful children, but still, something was missing. Then she read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, a well-known and insanely popular book, and FINALLY had her A-HAA!!!! moment--She would sit her butt down and write and write and write, and in her spare time, read and oh yes, raise a family. In Wide Awake, Celtic Folklore, Myth, and Legend combine with witches, werewolves, and magic to create a fast-paced young adult fantasy novel. She is preparing her manuscript for submission.
