Bio:

I am a 'want to be' Illustrator of childrens books.I have done some greetings cards, seed packs for Mr Fothergills and Thompson and Morgan, some illustrations for educational magazines.


I have lived in Suffolk for 16 years, with my husband and two
children.I trained as Graphic Designer at Great Yarmouth College of Art UK in the late 1980’s. I have worked in publishing and packaging design and also exhibition design, winning an RHS Silver Gilt Medal at the 2007 Chelsea flower show.

I decided to build up my illustration portfolio whilst I raised my family, being inspired by them and both modern and classic children’s stories.

I work in a variety of styles and media, coloured pencils on textured paper, inks and acrylics. I have had an exhibition of my work here in Suffolk and have several people who collect my work. I have produced illustrations for a book cover, CD covers, greetings cards, seed packets and education magazines.

Royal Horticultural Society silver gilt medal @ the Chelsea Flower Show in 2007 and Gold @ Shrewsbury Show for exhibit that I designed, illustrated and constructed.
