Bio:

I've been a professional writer in the journalism and marketing/communications fields for 20 years. After reading hundreds of children's books to my son (age 7) and daughter (age 2 1/2), I've developed an interest in writing my own stories for children.

With two picture book series underway, I'm in the process of making that dream a reality. While my children already love my stories, even without illustrations, I am looking forward to researching publishers and beginning the manuscript submission process. I'm happy to have learned about scbwi. The organization has been an invaluable resource.
