Bio:
My parents didn't let me take ballet after kindergarten (apparently, I spent more time running around the classroom than I did at the barre, but still...), so I started taking classes when I was nineteen.
A random whim came to me while laid up for months with an injury-- and I started taking figure skating lessons at twenty-eight.
On my thirtieth birthday, I started using all of those frequent flyer miles to visit all of the places that I've dreamed of seeing-- from Prince Edward Island, Canada, to Agra, India.
And I've always dreamed of being a writer. From the moment that I could hold a crayon, I was making "books" for my family and teachers. So, two months before my thirty-third birthday, I decided to brush off my pile of plots and get to work. I've loved every moment.
During the day, I pay the bills as a Mechanical Engineer who designs medical devices. But in my spare time, I dance, skate, travel, and write.
I live in (Southern) New Jersey with my little black cat, Phoebe, and a closetful of vintage hats.
I am currently querying my YA manuscript and my current WIP is a MG "modern" fairy tale.
