Bio:

Jessica Nelson lives in Minnesota with her husband and four cats. Writing has been in her blood since she was little and her first unfinished book occured during a class project in third grade. While all the other students were finishing their books, Jessica was still plot developing her story. Jessica continued to write poems, stories, and even novels during her junior high and high school years. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and later went back to school for her M.A. in Teacher Education. During this time Jessica was fortunate to travel all around the world. After spending several years teaching in the classroom. Jessica went back to what she loves best, writing. She found a wonderful low-residency program at Hamline University and will be graduating in 2012 with her M.A. in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults. She's excited to put all of her stories down on paper and can't wait to bring joy to readers with them.
