Bio:

A children’s writer and former English/theater teacher, Renée has co-authored six early readers and a book of poetry for All About Learning Press, for whom she also edits teaching materials and blogs on language and grammar under the guise of her alter ego, the Chipmunk of Doom.

Renée also videoblogs on children's poetry and picture books at www.NoWaterRiver.com, a site dedicated to building an online video library of poets reading their own work.

Renée holds a BFA in Acting/Directing from Marymount Manhattan College and an MA in English Education from New York University. Originally from New York State, Renée now lives in Italy with her husband and twin boys.
