Bio:

Clare Cannon, a free-lance artist and illustrator, uses painting and drawing to explore the visual relationships between movement, introspection, and the physical world. Highly inspired by Japanese calligraphy and the art of dance, Cannon infuses spirituality and awkward beauty into her art and illustrations. The use of line within Cannon’s work allows her to explore visual movement and rhythm, while the rich earth tones in her palate relate to her appreciation of life and her spiritual connection to nature. Clare Cannon also brings a unique perspective to her work though her training and experiences as a Montessori educator.
