For 20-plus years, including eight in Brussels, Belgium, I have tackled a variety of jobs at The Wall Street Journal: copy and rewrite editor, book reviewer, page one editor of the European edition, and managing editor of a European magazine that never quite got off the ground. These days, I edit feature stories for Journal Reports--magazine-like sections of the newspaper that focus on single themes.
I have a master's degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and a bachelor's in history from Northwestern University.
I have an agent and am currently trying to publish my first children's book. I will also entertain requests to professionally edit and critically read works by others.
Books and reading are a lifelong love affair. Perhaps what matters most are the books we read as children.
