Bio:
Diane Smithey is a freelance writer and author of award-winning novels, essays, and short stories. Her work has recently been featured in the Echoes of the Ozarks anthology, and her young adult fantasy novel, Sister of Snowdonia, won the 2011 President’s Award for Best of the Best at the OWL Annual Literary Awards in Branson, Missouri. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and the Ozarks Writers League. Diane also supports the World Wildlife Fund and encourages all who care about threatened wildlife and their habitats to join her.
