Bio:

As the daughter of a successful commercial fashion illustrator, Dawn initially went in a different direction from her mother, and became a video/film professional. After decades of successfully expressing her talent on tape and film, and then digitally, she yearned for the tactile stimulation that only paper, canvas, brushes, pencils and paints could provide. So, she carefully planned a mid-life career change and because of her own children, wound-up with a new-found desire to one-day illustrate children's books.

With a background in the TV/Film industry, and early training and awards in fine arts, she was already versed in the special language of visual medium. She is now carefully transitioning into the special world of children's literature and visual creations.
