Bio:

Writing science fiction and fantasy, Carol R. Wood does occasionally set foot on Earth. Her stories are fueled by treks into mythology, prehistory, and science. Interspersed are space stations, zero g, terraforming, and bioengineering. Carol grew up in a military family where new bases, new states, and new countries were a common occurrence. She knows the feeling of disconnection, of having to find one’s place in a new world, make new friends. For her, home is the people, not a location. She uses this theme in writing for readers of all ages. Carol lives in Arkansas with her artist husband and an art gallery of a house.
