Donna C. McClanahan is a former Tennis Pro who started writing the series Critters Galore as a way to make herself laugh again after an injury forced her from competing at the National level, where she had reached the top 10 in the Nation in the Women's 50's Singles. She lives in Atlanta with her husband Gary and son Ryan, who is a Music Business major at Belmont University in Nashville, Tn.
