Two memoirs ("The Third Class Bus" - first prize and "Untitled"- third prize) published online through Univ. of NC writing contest.in 2008.

Born in NYC, moved to Mexico City at age six. Moved back to NY age 16. Raised two children in NY. Moved to NC Jan. 2008. Grandmother of five,wife of one. Currently mother of Maggie the dog. Retired.

Given the fact that I am bi-lingual and bi-cultural, I am very enthused about breaking into the childrens lit. market and the need for what I hope to offer.
