Bio:

I am a mother, wife, and high school English teacher in Birmingham, Alabama that has just finished her first complete YA manuscript. Loosely based on Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem "Christabel" my novel is a new story with an old soul.Though I have not yet obtained an agent or publisher, I have already began feverishly writing the next installment in what I call The Christabel Trilogy.

I love to read and review YA fiction and have been doing so on my blog since 2008. I also have a deep love and appreciation for the British romantics that can be seen in my writing. When I'm not teaching, reading, or writing, I can be found playing outside with my two-year-old daughter and our dog Reese.
