Bio:

Everything starts with a story, and Carrie’s began with her extreme passion for storytelling, dramatics, and literary presentations as a child and teen. She wrote and illustrated her first manuscript as an assignment for her children’s literature class in college, making it a goal to publish one day. After 8 years of teaching and several years as a full time mom, Carrie opened a new chapter of her life as a writer in 2012. Her current writing projects include picture books, adult humor, and middle grade fiction.

She continues her literacy adventures in the classroom, where she always loves to teach reading and writing to various ages. Carrie lives in Mansfield, Texas with her husband Richard, and their three children. Not surprising, her children all love to read and write.
