Bio:

I am new to the world of children's illustration, but it is something I have loved to play with for many years. I made my living as architectural illustrator for about 15 years, painting buildings and stadiums, parks and parking lots, with lots of detail and lots of deadlines! I loved the challenge of it all, but eventually my interests turned more toward landscape painting, and that is where my living has been made for about the last 10 years. Illustrating children's books has been a bit of a hobby, and I have created a couple of small, self-published books for my family and my community. The more I played, the more my interest grew, and I now am expanding my playtime into a professional pursuit.

I live in Kansas City with my wonderful husband, Dick, and our wonderful dog, Lucy.
